Rationale: The rationale for this assignment was for students to write two types of poems based on the idea of identity and to create a collage to explain the various aspects of their identity.
Learning Goal/ Standard:Students will be able to express their own identities through poetry and the creation of their own collages. Writing 3 Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, wellchosen details, and wellstructured event sequences.
Reflection: I liked this project because it gave you a chance to be real creative. The hardest part of this was finding/ making a background that would go with you poems. I believe that I mastered the standards and achieved the learning goal. By finishing this I learned how to write different kinds of poems.
